But we do have senior German professors @Balajee @satchitananda to help us with pronunciations of German equivalent for world-pain and other words in German & French. Thanks and Regards.

Hello Anusha! Congratulations! Such a lovely update! I am delighted to hear that you are a mommy now! I can see a glimpse of the little bean in your avatar. Lots of love to her!
I enjoyed reading this note and also the web contents of “little things about life”. Thank you. God bless.
I can't agree more with this statement.. When I was covid positive in January along with my parents I thought it was the worst thing to happen to a new mother.. The curve had almost flattened in January, vaccines were very soon going to be rolled out. Parents who were admitted said the beds were empty in the hospital. Well the past week has gone in being thankful a million times for covid choosing us in January and not now.. I can't imagine the situation of parents being admitted now when evey day I get to read about shortage of beds n O2 supply.. Yes we are staying safe with the lessons learnt 3m back and but again I feel like writing this "Thank god we are not infected now".
I agree. Can’t imagine how difficult it must have been for you. With a little baby too. Glad you are all doing well now. In our case the doctor suggested 5 shots of Remdesivir and high flow oxygen that they were upping by the hour. It took a week in the ICU for the O2 levels to stabilize. Then a prolonged recovery after that. Right now people are literally running out of breath waiting outside hospitals. A tank of oxygen means the difference between life and death. Remdesivir, putting aside whether it works or not, is selling for lakhs on the black market. Just 2 months ago we walked into a pharmacy and bought five vials for Rs 5000 each. Now I have people on my company network in India begging us to ship it from the USA. It breaks my heart to tell them that I have no way of getting it for them.
I see what you are getting at! My sources are the usual news media & blogs only, and given their biases I don't have much conclusive thoughts on-ground reality. Mostly just observing these days, keeping my mind open. This book sounds like an interesting read, will check it out. Also, hello. Howdy.
