    Standing like a rock
    On life’s seashore
    Waves of love,
    waves of affection
    waves of friendship
    waves of turmoil
    waves of heartbreaks
    waves of challenges
    come
    dashing at me
    smoothening me
    polishing me
    softening me
    on the outside
    shaping me better
    teaching life’s
    valuable lessons
    while making me
    steadfast strong and true
    on the inside
Someday I will be a pebble
    One could hold gently
    with a smile
    Until then
    Will stand like a rock
    on life's seashore
    with endurance

:hello:One is reminded the power of waves which constantly lap and bombard a trillion times foot of a huge mountain and one distant day find its way - that is *Grand Canyon for you.

    2. The rock is beautiful panoramic now after years of attacks and or embraces of trillion waves of human emotions but the same trillion emotional waves after some years or with the passage of time would dissolve the mountain to pebbles.

    3. I presume the poem is an epilogue or prologue after or before impending or done with visit to GRAND CANYON.

    LOVELY CHOICE OF WORDS
    POEM IS AGLOW
    LAPPING EARS
    WITH SOUNDS OF
    HUMAN EMOTIONS
    AND TURMOILS.
    PEBBLE OR ROCK
    ATOM IS SAME SO TOO
    YOU REMAIN STRONG YET FRAGILE!

    Thanks and Regards.

*Both breathtaking and overwhelming at the same time, the 1.6-kilometer deep and 16-kilometer wide Grand Canyon is a testament to 2000 million years of geological history. Nearly as alluring as the canyon is the ...

Imagine from a rock to a pebble to a Shaligram if it will turn out to be one day... ;)

    Awaiting, it attained purity
Signs of endurance, a mark of divinity
    As lord, they shall worship
And, there is its own Mukti.

Lol, a lame attempt  but perseverance is the key is what I wanna add to your message. :relaxed:
