    Hi,

I m also a great fan of kalki's Ponnniyin Selvan. I have read all the parts in my college days and my mom used to scold me like if you read ur subject books like this day and night there must be some use. But i never give up. I have read all the big big books. I just want to read it again after seeing this thread.

I have read it maybe twice. But very engrossing story. I love all the character twists and it is awesome. Kalki makes the person go directly into that period and what a fantastic novel. Nowadays it time permits I just listen to the audioversion of the story.

I have lost count. 10 times for sure  If I am laughing out loud with a bound book in hand, family will know it is me enjoying PS ! A rainy day, snacks to eat, time to spare, PS to read- it was heaven !

Aazhvaarkadiyaan is my favorite character. Interactions between him and charming hero Vandhiyathevan never cease to please me. If I get a chance to play a role in the novel, I would straight away choose Nandhini's character.

I have read PS n number of times. I lost count. My favorite is Aadhitya karikalan. I love story telling and have told P.S to my hostel mates, husband. Waiting for my kid to grow up so that i can tell him too.

I have read Udayar, Kaveri mainthan etc but nothing impresses me like ponniyin selvan.
