Kg1 Admission For Year 2017-2018

Thanks Swati for detailed reply. i am not only worried but i m highly stressed about my son's admission specially in DPS. As currently its the only school in jabel ali area, where i can admit him. there re two more but one is closed for admission this year and other is not affordable for me.

the main reason of my stress is that i have to manage everything on my own, as my hubby is on his project in kuwait and wont be back in another 4 months or so. i understand your concern about location as even i dont want to admit him in school far away from home, changing accommodation is challenge too plus i dont drive. he will not be even four yrs when he start going school. so really looking forward for admission in DPS. i have heard that its difficult to get admission there, not sure how they evaluate.

If you anyone personally or over this forum who is trying for admission in dps please let me know. i will be thankful. have a good day.

 

Anyone attended ryan interactive session??? We went today.... as expected my son started crying d moment he was taken to the room with other kids....so they let him cum out..n we wer asked to wait as some other kids were also there who were crying... we were told dat d kids will be interviewed in d last with one parent accompanying them..... after sum time dey called us and one of the teachers asked him his name,fathers and mother's name....den they showed him a chart of vehicles where he was asked about car and truck..after dat he was shown a chart of fruits and asked to identify dem....dats it...on cuming bak he was given a chocolate..... so it was quite a simple one....

 

We had gone through Ryans assessment process with our daughter. She went with other kids and come back after 10-15 min. They told if selected u will get a call.

We have Ryan interactive session coming Saturday.
I think it is pretty normal for children to cry when they meet strangers.
So don't be worried. the teachers understand that too.

Actually we went for the interactive session yesterday,as daddysangel told my son also cried and they interviewed my son at last along with me..
Today we got call from Ryan saying that he is selected and pay the admission fees 1800 before Thursday
actually i heard mixed reviews about the school,if anybody hvng children studying over there pls share info abt the school..it will be useful for us

I've heard good reviews about Ryan. Some say that the kindergarten is the good. My neighbor is sending their kids there and is super happy.
I think most parents are awaiting DPS forms. But i think schools like Ryan, Gulf Asian, Millennium are equally good. At the end of the day, i'll be your child's personality & grades that will get him or her ahead in life. If you keep waiting for other choices, you might lose this one.

I have bad reviews of the best schools in Sharjah as well. Review of a school depends on an individual. A child should go to a school where is atmosphere is very welcoming & where parents are equally welcome. Also a school where the teacher turnover is minimum. I believe we should take up the good schools in the offing and relieve the stress once for all.
