Dear Kamla,

on my next visit to mumbai, i may visit Ramesh Sippy, and get his take on Seeta aur geeta , sholay, those rare photos in his albums that we dont get to see, etc.

im very keen to visit Dilip kumar, and Slaman's Dad Salim khan, they have so many stories to share, the behind the scenes change of actors, and many other things. let me see how far i succeed.

WEll i did not ghave anything much to post , so i thought of this one, yes even i am surprised at the quick response and yr visit too, which tells me normally that my blog has been nominated, but good that u came here.

And tomm i will post a blog, which i have posted elsewhere, about the Ministers and tehir food at parliament, the rates they pay etc. pretty interestng, it was in todays papers, and it inspired me.

That for tomm, let me squeeze this one for what it is worth.HAHA

First they came out with the LP recoirs with daiglogues, and songs, and it used to be played for more than 12 horus everyday, such was the craze then.
i dont know if u remember, this released at Kum Kum, now Geeta , at worli naka, and it was empty, it flopped initially. Then they eidited a few scenes, like jaya song with sanjeev on the tonga, the jail scence with keshto, and other such scenes which i dont remember now. After a few weeks it picked up, it was a miracle really. Tickets were being sold at a discount, like 5 buck ticket for 2 bucks, i saw it. And then the same 5 buck for 50 bucks, and still no tickets.HAHA

And to think i would get the opportunity to meet one of the charcters, rather two, samba and kalia, is a dream.

i hope i can meet Ramesh sippy when i am in mumbai this time. io consider him a genious what with Sholay, seeta aur geeta, and Andaaz, all super movies, though all copuies and inspired surely, but well adapted.
