    dear these SILS are really too much and I really do not understand in what way they are brought up. here you are thinking n I had said on her face to have some self respect as she is high rank officer saving even a rupee of her salary and asking us to pay for everything.. but most shameless creature on this earth still the same... I just can not stand her anymore.

    Well, SILs seem to believe they are entitled to anything and everything from their parents' and brothers, and with brother's wife too. The same thought goes in the mind of mil too that her daughter deserves whatever she wants from their house and first preference should be given to her...can't help it.

    yes chillbreeze you are right but the irony is that when these sils own sils do the same they get so furious..then everything goes ups n down :)

    I am not sure if ILites have experienced some type of competition from their Sils. I am not sure if competition is the right word but I couldn't think of any other word to describe my sil's behavior. Here are some things she did:

    1. Sil is elder to me and she never wore jeans till now. After my marriage, she asked me if I wear jeans and I said yes and even wore it when I go out with DH. Now she has got a jean and even asked me what my size was before she got one.

    2. We went to a temple recently and I got a purse for me in a nearby shop. Sil was not with me at that time. When she saw what I got, she said she too wanted one like that. When we departed from there, it was around 11.30 pm, but still she went to a shop near our hotel room and got the same type of purse that I got few hours back.

    3. On the same trip, I was using a Qua mineral water bottle. Sil asked if she can have it because it looks good and she doesn't have a water bottle in her place at work. (She works in a hospital and I am sure there are shops in our city)

    4. A neighbor returned from US and gave a small deo. When sil saw it, she wanted it. I knew the deo was a cheap one by looking at its name and appearance. Hence, didn't mind it. However, there was a drama by my fil and mil to make her have it.

    5. Sil has to get school application for her son. Before getting, she asked me, did you study in CBSE or <XX>. When I replied, she went and got application in the same branch. I studied Kindergarten 25 years back. I don't understand how does it helps her son todayWitsend

    MIL.u don't know how to feed kid.
    me..yes BCz I don't wanna add sugar...more sugar in his food
    MIL..m very mordern..

    MIL..I hv very good relation with relatives..
    Me..oh! Thatz why no one wanna see u again..
    in front of others she is like butter..but from inside she is like king kobra....I just hate her

    MIL : All the four of us in our family are broad minded people.
    me : OMG, my English teacher dint teach me the meaning of broad minded properly
    MIL continues : We are the best. All the people in this world are very selfish except us.
    me : dumbstruck. Blow after blow.
    MIL still continues : That is why I wanted to look for a best groom for my kutty (her daughter, that's how she calls her). I'm looking for a family exactly like mine
    me : I'm also praying for that only

    FIL : You are so short, your delivery will be a C-section only... Short people dont deliver normally
    (He is 5'4'' and I'm 5'2''. Btw MIL is 5'5'')
    me: Then why did Aunty had C-section twice

    SIL : (on my first b'day after marriage and first anniversary) What gift did bro give you.
    me : (he gave me nothing)
    "snatching all the money from him, what are you expecting"
    MIL : What gift did son give you.
    me : grrr
    FIL : What gift did son give you.
    me : grrr power infinity
    SIL (second b'day) : What gift did bro give you.
    me : birthday card
    SIL : What did he write ?
    me : God, save me from this pest.

    MIL and SIL during this diwali : Any special gift?
    Me : Yes. Lots and lots of kisses, hugs... Do you want to hear more...

    MIL: My daughter`s DD`s birth only is going to bring fortune for her Uncle(for my DH)
    ME: is it so then y the hell u married him to me and spoiled his fortune......

    this has happened to me also......
    She wud prepare very less amount and while serving will start with DH and place a small quantity for me and tell the rest is for my daughters grand son who likes that food very much......
    must mention tis too we visit only on occasions when all the good food in my mom`s place would be waiting for me........
    i wud lik to put back the food kept for me too and tell give this also to yr daughter`s grans son....:evil:
