how much age difference between husband and wife is ideal as per you?

2 -5 yrs....? Hubby is 4 yrs elder to me... But then I have seen successful marges with a large age gap too, like my eldest aunt and her hubby are 16 years apart and are happily married. My grandparents are happiest couple I've seen and grew old happily while they are just few months apart ( Actually, my grandmom is 4 months elder to my grandpa. NO- not a love marge, but its arranged).
So, I think neither maturity comes with age nor age matters in healthy and happy marge. Love, compatibility and due respect for each other matters..

 

We have a friend couple where the husband is 9 months younger than the wife and they are too cute. She does lots of dadagiri and he too easily escapes lots of boring shopping decisions saying "tu badi hai, tu hi dekh le (you are older, you decide)" Its fun to go shopping with them.

 

Age is just a number - when two people are right for each other, age does not matter.

 

My two cents .... I think age is abolutely irrelevant...!! Two people need to be compatible for a good marriage.
My husband is younger than me by more than a year...

 

i think 5-6 is right ... at the max 8 yrs...

 

Me and my DH have age difference of 6 years, and I personally feel a couple with age difference of 1-3 years is better and they are more compatible, some how if they many years senior they tend to be bossy.JMO

 

Not so. It will appear ok in the initial period. When they become older age diffrenece (like 10 or more year difference) will make effects on their sexual and personal life.

 

you have bad experience , doesn't mean it is not good for others. It's all depends upon compatibility .
