    Hi IL's,

My baby boy is 2.5 yrs old. We shifted to new place recently and i noticed that he is having pale ( light) white patches on his face. It is not there in any other part of the body.

Can you suggest some cream or home remedy for the same..

    Thanks...

    Hi,

recently i too found these small patches on my DD's face, close to her lips....my mother said that its because of vitamin deficiency and me and my sis too had the same...she applied some ointment(prescribed by doctors) and it vanished it seems...but for confirmation,we took DD to a good pediatrician and she too confirmed the same and said it would vanish by itself and said no need of any oitment...if requried, she asked us to put coconut oil on it...but then again we took her to another dermatologist who prescribed some medicines...but we dint give her....now after a month ,i dont see the white.patch...

so i gues there is nothing to worry

Usually small kids are very delicate.. They need lots of vitamins for their growth.. So if they dont get enough supplements then they face all these problems..

Its not a big thing.. Just try to include lots of veggie and fruits in the diet... Ur child will become normal within few weeks..:thumbsup

My son too had it.. infact in my profile pic, you could see some near his cheeks...
Now its all gone.. got faded lately.. doctor suggested to apply mild moisturising cream.. Its because of too much sensitiveness .. do not worry.. it took almost a month for my son.

    Hi!countyourblessing,

You can try applying some coconut oil too. that was the advice given by my dermatologists during my medical school training . It may be due some fungus or vitamin deficiency.

    Hi,
