    Hi Lavanya,
Thanks for the reply and glad to get a second opinion about the sleep position.
I'm trying hard to sleep on sides, but I feel it's important to be comfortable too.
Hope you and your LO is keeping fine.
    Thanks!

    HI Ladies,
Good to see activity in the club!!!

Yathriga- Im doing good. Have been busy lately with work and the weather was so bad last week that it made me sleepy all the time.

How is everyone doing? Looks like all of you have started feeling movements. Do any of you feel tired- really
very tired to the point of feeling dizzy? I feel like it everyday between 8am and 11 am. Even if Im just sitting, I feel so weak and tired.

Regarding sleeping position, I have read that sleeping on sides gives best blood flow to the uterus and hence the baby. But sleeping on back for some time wont harm. Just don't do it throughout.
Anyone started making a list of baby names? Please suggest a name for baby boy rhyming with Tarun or starting with T.

How about Varun? Or Tanay? I like Varun but then Tarun and Varun sound too similar.

    hi BabyBlues and ranjoose,
actually I am not comfortable sleeping on back...i always prefer sides because thats how i am comfortable...
what my doctor told was, try sleeping on sides but even in deep sleep if u sleep on back without your knowledge it is not a problem...

even I have felt that dizzy feeling quite often in the past 2 or 3 weeks...mainly in the mornings if i delay having brkfast...

    Hi all,

Am back after a long time :)

Hope all is well with everyone on this thread.

I feel the baby movements but no specific pattern.

I have a question, does your doctor specify if it is going to be a normal delivery beforehand? or it is to be decided till the last moment?

I had asked the same question to my doc about normal vaginal delivery and c-section and she said by about week 36, they will closely monitor and should be able to tell if its going to be c-section for any evident reason. In most cases it'll be a normal delivery unless otherwise anything goes wrong at the last moment!! Here in US, doc prefer normal delivery to c-section. They'll wait any longer as far as we don't have any discomfort and everything is under control.

Sometimes I too feel very tired, especially the weather here being very cold and chilly nowadays. Feeling the LO movement frequently than before.
I'm also confused in buying stuff for LO, as my mil and mom says you shouldn't by anything before birth. But we cannot do that as we have to be prepared with atleast with the basic stuff like crib, car seat and some clothes and diapers for the initial days. Since it's just me and my hubby here, its going to be difficult if we keep it for the last moment or after the delivery. So my hubby says it's all old myths and not practical nowadays and we have to do whatever we need to prepare for the baby's arrival.

    Hi ladies

Did any of you guys do workouts/prenatal exercises? I couldn't go for a walk here as the weather is too cold all the time. If I open the door, I sneeze right away! So I started doing 5 min workout, 5 min cardio and 10 min yoga! I am doing it for the past 2 days and I feel so refreshing and able to get full night sleep. Update u guys again in another couple of days!

    Sanguineme,

They usually can't tell till the end if you are going to have a normal birth or c section. But i've heard from my friends that when they we'nt for the 20 week scan, the doctor told them your baby's head is big so be prepared for c section!!! Thats too much. Unless baby is in breech position, or in distress during labor- like it passes stool inside or the cord is wound round its neck or some similar reason, you will most likely have a normal birth.
Yathriga and rose82, thanks for the name suggestions. will add them to my list.

I am going to the gym almost everyday(weekly 4 times) and walking for 45 mins and doing some stretches for 10 mins. It makes me so tired and hungry but really helps with back pain..
