    Greetings,
    I am thrilled to find a thread discussing about Mahavatar Babaji here.. I have been praying to him eversince I learned about his existence from Yogananda's book..
    Where is Babaji's ashram located in India? has anyone gone and stayed there?
    I would like to pay a visit and am clueless on where to begin..please kindly help me.. Thanks...

    Dear Nirmell,

    Babaji's birth place is in "Parangipettai" in Kadalur district, in Tamil Nadu.
    I have not been there. U can do google search...for more details.

    Just wanted to share the Aarti on Babaji with IL members. This was given to my guruji's daughter by Baba himself. The tune is the same like - "om Jai jagadish hare"...... OR like - sathya sai baba aarti tune......

    Yes Sri......I liked the book very much. Whenever I feel low, i just open some page at random and read the same. It gives u solace. its wonderful.

    Yes my guruji and daughter has met babaji. (they definitely must be divine).

    iam thrilled to hear that ur guruji's daughter has met Babaji. Has she told u about her meeting with Him, her experiences etc? how old is she?does she meditate a lot? iam eager to know more about ur guruji and his daughter.

    I havn't met her as she she is staying out of mumbai. but my guruji is in mumbai and he has told me his experiences, even though not much. (I think he is not supposed to disclose).

    This july my guruji had been to himalayas and met babaji there.

    Don't worry. one day even we will meet HIM.

    It really touches my soul whenever i read yr experiences about Babaji,and also reassures our faith in the divinity.It would be wonderful if you could ask yr guruji on how we can prepare ourselves for 2012 both spiritually and otherwise since Babaji's follower Sri Yuteshwarji has given a totally different view of kaliyug.Call it anxiety or curiosity but it would be nice to hear something from someone who it so spiritually inclined and has met Babaji who must have definitely given him some clue.

    u have mentioned that Yuteahwar Giri has given a different view on 2012 ? have u read any of his book? wat has he said about 2012? can u plzzz tell me ? iam really curious.

    Hi Sri
    I have not read any book of Sri Yukteswarji but according to him kaliyug ended in 1699 and dwapar yug started in 1899,the calculation of others which says that kaliyug has some 400000 yrs left is wrong acc to him.He has written this in "The Holy Science",you can google it.
    Here i dont want to know what is right or wrong but am more concerned about how to prepare ourselves and what we can do for our children(of course prayers n good deeds are on top of my list),but lets wait for a reply from Sashu.
