Is Progesterone tablets safe to take during pregnancy?

Congratulations on your pregnancy!! Progesterone pills are completely safe to take during pregnancy. Did your gynec ask you to take them orally or vaginally.
In early pregnancy, progesterone helps maintain a supportive environment for the developing fetus. Eventually, when the placenta is more fully developed, it can produce its own supply of hormones, including
progesterone, to support the rest of the pregnancy.
if vaginally then you have to insert it inside when you are in bed. insert it inside and then take rest.

Progesterone is given to pregnant ladies for the first 3 months to help avoid miscarriages.

Procedure to take through vagina is simply inserting it and it gets absorbed automatically.

as hansika and GC said these tablets are absolutely safe in pregnancy and helps to avoid MC.
Its more effective if you take it vaginally. Just insert the tab deep down and take rest for atleast one hour you can insert it just before going to sleep.

hearty congrats dear.Don't worry about the past.I agree that fear stays within us, but we have to overcome it.Positive thoughts are more important than anything during pregnancy.Stay confident and positive.

ask your gynec. with your history of missed abortion i wouldn't suggest travelling. I also had a history of miscarriages and my gynec told me not to travel any where till i completed first trimester.

I second hansika.None of us are quoting in a negative note, but as a pre-cautious matter we have to reconsider traveling till first trimester.Take care

Hearty Congrats on your pregnancy. A others said Progestrone supplement is safe during preganancy. I was in to progestrone supplement now in 7th month.

Travelling is not suggested if you have previsous history of miscarriage. So, talk to your Gync. Better avoid travelling atleast for first three-four months.

enjoy 9 months periods. Take care, eat healthy foods and drink more fluids.
