Hi guys check this out.... This was a Real incident in New York.... An Indian walks into a New York City bank and asks to see the loan officer. He says he is going to Europe on business for two weeks and Needs to borrow $5,000. The bank officer says the bank will need some kind of security for such a loan, so the man hands over the keys of a new Rolls Royce parked on the street in front of the bank. Everything is checked out, and the bank agrees to accept the car as collateral for the loan. An employee drives the Rolls into the bank's underground garage and parks it there. Two weeks later, the man returns, repays the $5,000 and the interest, which comes to $15.41. The loan officer says, "We are very happy to have had your business, and this transaction has worked out very nicely, but we are little puzzled. While you were away, we checked you out and found that u are a multimillionaire. What puzzles us is why would you bother to borrow just $5,000?" The Indian replied,"Where else in New York can I park my car for two weeks for 15bucks? " "Indians don't do different things but they do things differently.":2thumbsup: regds..
I dont think this is real - I have seen many versions of the same thing making its way across cyberspace. I still enjoyed reading it again! Shobana
ohh its a gujju joke... i've been hearing since last few years... nothing new about it... and its NOT a real incident as far as my knowledge goes..
Dear Rajjo, I have read this but reading it again i enjoyed.Although it may be a little exaggerated I strongly believe that Indians are not only intelligent but some ofthem too clever. Regards, Meenu
Hey meenu, i dont think its exaggerated, but i really believe we Indians do things differently in a positive way.and I am proud to be a Indian.
Whether it is true or not, Once thing is true.. Indians think..... It happened to us. we wanted to park our car in tnagar. there was no parking as most of the shops were having aadi thalllupadi. so we just went into rmkv.and left ourselves out.... rmkv has a parking space reserved... for its customers.. :tongue
Thats a dam neat idea!! But I don't think it really works... It will certainly help in downtowns where parking is so expensive ;-)
