Having baby after age of 30 cause any problem?

It might put you at a higher risk for pregnancy related problems and your baby at a higher risk for birth defects...as you age your eggs age with you (since at birth you are already born with all of your eggs, they just release monthly after puberty), so eventually they will develop defects in them also... its better to have children earlier in life....

 

Jeezus, that's a scary question to read.

From what I've heard/read, after 35 there can be more complications.
But at 30 maybe the clock starts ticking, so time to get proactive.

yes it definitely is..... but no need to worry Neha, now a days there is full fledged technology, which can do any miracle. there are a lot of people even in india who got conceived and deliver a healthy baby at the age of 45. it all depends on your body and health condition.

The above all are to encourage and support one. But coming to the real, in india generally doctors say after 35 years chances are less for a female, who wants to conceive and at the same time in USA, UK etc upto 40 years to be considered as fine. since we are indians and our jeans are not so strong as foreigners, indian doctors in US say that after 30-35 years would/might be difficult. but stay positive, nothing to worry. It'll happen, when it suppose to be. its always better to see and have an advice from a doctor. He/she will take care you and guide you in an every step.

 

Well as the age of mother increases the chances of complications also increases.So as to avoid these complications it is said to start early.Also some time there will be some TTC issues & you need to spend some time in sorting it out.Hence its good to start TTC well before 30.

 

My advice: live your life as you need to live it. Reading too many articles on the internet can get you crazy and in five years all that info will change again and get you crazy in some new way.

I was born when my mom was 32, my dad was born when his mom was 40. In the years before birth control, women had kids till they either stopped having sex or went through menopause or died young. The world was not littered with autistic kids.

 

This is really a scary thing and it hampers the confidence and motivation of those who are still TTC#1 and don't want to come across such questions.Plz 30 is not the age limit.With that said so I don't want to comment anything and this is really very disturbing though it's just a question.

 

30 is not an age limit and there are several pros and cons to conceiving at any age.

Research isn't exactly conclusive, every study has its limitations and Autism is a mixture of several predisposing factors, that we don't have a good handle on yet. The best one can do is keep oneself in the optimal health, get tested before TTC, ensure financial security for the years ahead and get educated about what to expect. JMO.
