shocked - found soft **** on dad's phone!!

Lol... Yes dear Jhalli,

We take husbands, brothers, friends for granted with such stuff.

But its hard to digest the fact when its your Dad.

Well I guess you were right in not dragging this issue. There is nothing your sister can do about this.

However I am not sure if you should let your mother know about this.

This will get too embarrassing for everyone.

 

This is not public news you broadcast on BBC for everyone to know. Use discretion and just keep it to yourself and pretend like it never happened. Yeah, it is probably a bit embarassing to see **** on your dad's mobile phone but don't forget he is human as well. Respect his privacy and just because he has **** on his mobile phone, does not make him any less of a dad than he has been to you all your life. Some things are better left unspoken. That is my opinion on this.

Malavika has said it very rightly. Your dad is a man,respect his privacy. Dont blow up matters. Your job was only to fix the mobile phone not to see what was in his memory card. Dont bring up this issue to your mom/sister. It can be extreamly embarassing. Just let this issue die. FORGET THE WHOLE THING

 

jhalli, if you're not aware then.. the mobiles are also spammed with all possible nonsense & dirty images.. if ever he left his phone unsecured with internet connectivity or without site blocker.

Also why do you think that ur dad shud be wearing pitamber dress with rudraksh in hand and chanting mrityunjaya mantras? He's a man and their harmone's seldom die out unlike women, and am sure post menopause its not a great fun for women to be a fulfilling partner.

His generation dint have all these things to explore so cant he do it now? Is it really harmful for your mom or you? or he needs a rebirth to see it?

 

I once heard Dr.Dyer say this - they were expecting their 6th child or 7th or something like that - can't remember. Anyways they wanted to break the news to their oldest child (who was probably 16/17 or someting liike that) but were feeling a little uneasy, given their age and the childs. However they went ahead and told her and her reaction was "that means you did it ewww" It is very difficult for us kids (especially when we are adults too) to imgine our parents as anything else other than just that - parents. But they are human too and as rightly said by everyone else, it is something very private about your dad - so just forget it/ignore and put it behind you!!

while it can be natural for you to assume about your DH, it could be unnatural for your kids, down the line. So it is ok.

 

All of them rightly said..Dnt blow things out of proportion as these are very common.

I can understand what u were going thru, when u happen to c the images as each of us assumes Dad is someone who is next to god, a hero, a perfectionist...

But remember one thing...Before he is ur dad, he is a man...and its in the nature..so...

Last time, when I went to India to visit my parents, My kids wanted to play some computer games in the afternoon. Dad and mom went out and I was alone with the kids. I turned on the computer and accidentally clicked on the desktop icon. I found a small video clip of semi nude bollywood heroine. My first reaction was little embarassment. But, then my second thought was C'mon, whats the big deal?
I feared my kids might click on that accidentally like I did or out of curiosity too. So, I told them there is something wrong with the desk top so you guys use my lap top whenever needed till we leave.
