Re: Job Search in tokyo Hi yashada It is difficult to get a job in Japan unless until u know Japanese. So try to learn Japanese and get through the examination levels and later u find a job. Hi yashada, I live in Yokohama. Well have lived in japan for past 6 years. One thing for sure. You have to learn Japanese. No harm in calling up wipro office in japan and asking though.....There are english speaking HR guys there. Looks like you are still in India but will be here soon. Welcome to my second hometown. Once here too you can start learning japanese. There are very good schools and if you dont need to pay too much, then you have free classes in all ward offices around the city. have fun. kami

Hi, I am Manju from Karnataka. We will bec coming to Japan in next 2 months. I have 3 yrs old daughetr. Could you please let me know if GIIS is in yokohama? We are planning to put up in yokohama.. Hi Manju, I am not sure about GIIS in Yokohama, however there are few International schools. I am located in Okinawa Japan and can tell you we have an International school down here that your daughter can attend, should your family decide to move to Okinawa instead of Yokohama. As for the job search, most jobs require you to speak Japanese, so you may want to start learning Japanese. I am actually looking for a lady who can speak Hindi to take care of my grandmother in Okinawa, so if you are interested in shifting to Okinawa instead and are interested in this job please do let me know.
