If you are in TTC and having hormonal or menstrual cycle issues, you can try taking Horse gram which is called as kollu in Tamil. Sometimes this will help you to conceive naturally.

From day1 of the cycle till day5:
    ---------------------------------------
Early morning in an empty stomach, drink 1 tumbler of boiled Horse gram water. If you do this for 3 to 4 cycles, it will help in removing the wastes from the uterus and helps to conceive naturally.

You can get this Horse gram easily in any grocery and can make a rasam or sundal and have it in your food atleast two days a week. It gives little heat so do not consume everyday. Also stop taking Horse gram 3 or 4 days before you next cycle starts.

Note: One important thing is, if you are on some treatment, you need not take it (or) please check with Doctor before taking.

There is a phrase "elaichavanukku ellu, kozhuthavanukku kollu" (which means sesame seeds for lean/thin people who wanted to gain weight and horse gram for obese people who wanted to lose weight). So, people who are obese can also take this horse gram.
