Thanks and regards.
When she was employed, I used to pick her up at 5 pm from her office. One day she left office at 4 pm walked along our regular path and met me on the way. We reached home 20 minutes earlier. What is the ratio of my car speed to her walking. What time we met enroute home? How long she walked?
God walking is it good for all ages?
Just like the “smiles” thread, we could have a counting/ math thread.

Thanks for evidencing your interest in quiz forum and my above question. I am sure you must have had tried and got the solutions but hesitant to post it or something else hinders you from typing out the answer on your gadget.
Here the way to walk through the answers.
Let us name the spot of my meeting walking spouse as X.
Mark OFFICE STARTING POINT AS Y.
The distance between X AND Y say D.
Note that car has not traversed the distance from my meeting point to office and back to that X . That means car has not this distance D twice.
This not travelled distance 2D saved time for me and resulted reaching home 20 minutes than usual. From this it follows car takes time 10 minutes to travel distance D. Normally meet at office at 5. Now she walked distance D, so I met her st 4.50 p.m. rate of speeds to walk 5:1.
