Year 2012 - end of the world ??????

Hi Friends

Just happened to watch a program based on how the world is heading towards destruction... so thought of sharing a few words here in a hope that its we women who can make a difference to help save this world.

We all must have come across phrases like
"its getting hotter and hotter every summer"
"the weather is no longer predictable"
"essential things are getting dearer"
"the sea level of the earth surface is rising"
"think of any thing its contaminated and polluted"
etc...
Now the point I wish to stress is we all know all these facts and many more but still we ignore this important aspect. May be we think
its not going to affect us and are busy with our life........

But the fact is its high time we all realise that "Its better to be late than sorry".

The mayan calender has the last month of its calender as dec 2012, the famous predictions states an end of the world by 2012, scientifically too its predicted that the sun will be in the centre of the milkyway galaxy which is not a good thing in terms of earths gravitational energy, its expected to have a maximum number of eclipses in the year 2012, and the list goes on ........

These are all the facts that are assumed but there are things very much visible to us which indicates nothing but destruction.........

The global warming, the tsunamis, the many hurricanes[all with the names of ladies:rant],the exhausting resources, the earth quakes, the floods, the droughts and as if this is not enough we humans are always ready with bomb blasts, mass killing, honour killing, adulterating the food, diluting our life with drugs and on and on and on.........

We are a generation who can make a difference, either we can save earth or push it down the grave with just one blow[ or say ... with one careless attitude]. :hide:

Nature has had enough tortures that it is no longer patient, some how, some where it shows its wrath and when it comes to nature vs human, we are NO match to it.

"Teach a man and he learns but teach a women and the whole family learns"

This saying sums it up why this post is here on IL. We all really need to think not just for our family, our people, our country but for OUR HOME CALLED EARTH.

This is a humble request to all who reads this that please give it a try today to save earth. No matter how small our efforts are but we all know

"Its the drops that make the ocean"
