wWHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE FOR ADMISSION TO LKG

HELLO FRIENDS

My son is 2 and 1/2 year old and I am confused about the right age to put him in LKG. Some say it is 3 and some say that 3 and 1/2 is the right age . He is born on 5 of june so he has to join at 3 and if not at 4 years of age.

suggestions needed?????????????

Hi

If u are opting for CBSE schools in chennai 2 1/2 for Pre-kg and 3 1/2 for Lkg.

There are some exceptional schools where kid has to complete 4 yrs to join LKG.

It depends on the Schools u chose.

3 and a half is mostly suited for LKG. I think 3 should be too young for LKG for CBSE schools.Enquire the schools for age limit for lkg.Some don't allow overage too.

I too felt 3 is too young an age to go to school....... thats why I just needed to confirm . now let me just check out with the schools ........
