    Dear IL's,

I am 6 weeks pregnant. But my Hcg levels are low. They again took the test after 48 hours to see if it's doubling. But unfortunately it reduced again.

Any one experience the same , but still have a healthy pregnancy.

I am really worried about miscarriage. But till now I don have any spotting or bleeding.

    Please share your inputs.
    Thanks
    Preethi

    Hello !

Did u speak to ur doctor ?
Have u got ur ultrasound done ?
Did the doctor confirm a heart beat ?
Usually the beta hcg is expected to double in 48 hrs in a ongoing healthy pregnancy up to 8weeks.

Prayers with u & do not stress..
Speak to ur doctor and clear ur doubts

I had an appointment today. My hcg levels drastically reduced to 300's.

My dr confirmed that it sure going to be a miscarriage. It happens within 10 days she told.

Ultrasound ll b seen once the level hits between 1000-2000.

Aftr 2 yrs of ttc this is my first pregnancy. But no luck. My gyne told that she is not sure what is the reason for drop in hcg levels.

Did any1 have ideas of hw to avoid this and attain healthy pregnancy:(

    :(
Sorry to hear about this ..!
Hcg levels should at least 1500 to appear as a sac on the ultrasound done vaginally.
Be strong.. God has a reason for everything.
Early miscarriages are mainly due to chromosomal or genetic abnormalities.
Do not lose hope ... U can try after a break and conceive again.
Was this a natural conception ?

My doctor had asked me to continue metformin until I completed 12 weeks. He said that it would reduce the chances of early pregnancy loss.
I think u should continue metformin until u conceive.
Keep the BMI under check. And be strong.
Since u conceived once , u shall later too..
Don't b disheartened. God his plans for u.. Wait for it .. Keep faith ..
    Good luck !
