    Hi,

    Me and my husband love the brand "Nescafe-tasters Choice" medium Roast. Excellent aroma. We get in costco, i suppose it is around 11$. For the past 3 yrs my husband has been drinking it. At times we get our good old Sunrise coffee powder from Indian stores.

    Hi Sriji,

    I use 100% Columbian (Kirkland brand from COSTCO) Dark Roast Coffee powder. To prepare decoction, I use stainless steel filters (that I got from Chennai). This is pretty much close to south indian filter coffee. :)

    If I drink coffee I drink Tasters Choise Medium roast as well but I drink coffee really rarely.

    hi ,

    we buy the cothas coffee powder from the indian stores. my husband likes that very much, also the coffee is very strong as it has chicory.

    also one can get an equivalent taste, by using dabara tumbler aathufying method...

    Good tip on sprinkling chocolate powder.

    Tips needed on US coffee brands - Brazilian, Java etc

    Other than our filter coffee, I can see 50 to 100 different varieties of coffes in some big retail stores.

    I wish to try new coffee flavors and need recommendations. Also please tell me how do you make it. I tried hazelnut but didn't like it much. I heard you get chocolate flavored coffee too. Please share with everyone your new coffee flavor experiments.

    One can mix Milk, Nescafe Taster's choice 1 sp, Vanilla ice cream one scoop and sugar and blend with some ice cubes. Top this with some coco powder and little instant coffee powder...Any other coffee based recipes there ?

    I have heard that, the Kerala brands like Monsoon Malabar is good too. Has anyone here tried it ? Any Indian brand recommendations ?

    Hello all,
    In this thread let' stalk about the coffee you order in Starbucks.

    I find even the small quantity too much for me. Indians like me should be used to half the qty.

    With recommendation from another iLite Abhi, I order "Double Tall Extra Hot Latte". That is closest to Indian Filter coffee.

    I tried Chai too, but it was too cinnamony. Next time I need to order it with less cinnamon.

    Cafe mocha is my husband's all time favorite.

    What do you like ?
