Where to shop for tea cups and other items

Hi Madhurisatya,

I even was looking long back, got some fromonline, but it was not like what i expected...it was coffee mugs...again from one shop i got seperate each pieces.

Recently i went to IKEA, mygod you got lot of item like this of our taste, i will surely recommend you to go there for more choice.

If i would have visited IKEA before i would have saved more bucks. I got cup and saucer 6set for 10$ its worth.

 

Sometimes you can get items like tthese at the dollar tree. I have found small bowls for gulab jamun, teacups with saucers and even coffee mugs. I hope you find some soon.

ikea is good option.I got most of my household and kitchen stuff from there only.Its worth if u r looking for long time.

 

IKEA is best...if its close by..You ll be amazed with their collections..:thumbsup

 

For serving icecream , dessert kind of stuff we use the small bowls from Ikea. And we got the mug set from Bed bath n beyond which is really good I must say. The set contains mugs, small plates, cereal bowls and big plates as well.

 

For small cups to serve gulab jamoon, look for anchor hocking or pyrex custard cup. These are small glass bowls for dessert.

For tea cups look for lead free ones. A lot of these cups are "Made in China" and have been glazed with lead which has harmful side effects. Ikea sells glass/stainless steel espresso cups. I bought anchor hocking ones, they are glass and don't leach anything into your food.
