    Hi,

Thanks a lot for your info. Yes, I have visited Bushkills. I liked it. I haven't visited any resorts.. Can you throw more light on this areas? I mean I need more details.

Is it a good place to go with kids? I mean hiking and other activities are difficult with kids..

    Hey Anitha,

There are few activities for kids as well, but I am not too familiar what types... We will be visiting this place in next 2 weeks I will probably have more information then. Do you have kids? If you do what age group? I will definitely keep you posted.

    Hello Friends,
We are planning to visit Six flag hurricane harbour (water park) with 23 mnth old. Had any one been there..please advise if it's good choice to go (my DD loves playing in water and this is first time we are going to a big water park).
Also, is there any dress code..Can I go in 3/4th pant and t-shirts?

    Please share your experience.

    Thanks,
    Priyanka

    Dear all,

Thanks for all your lovely tips.

We went to Baltimore Aquarium on Saturday and we enjoyed the different types of fishes, sharks, colourful fishes. But, it was more or less same as Camden Aq but this had more space but was a crowded day(may be due to long weekend).

Eve, we visited Shiva Vushnu temple & Murugan temple. Enjoyed darshan.

It was a lovely 1 day trip but reached home late night only.

    Hey Anitha,

As promised my review of Mohank Mountain Resort....
We stayed there for 2 days and its a great place to escape day-day life....food and some resort activities are included in the overnight stay package. You can go there throughout the year... there are so many activities you can do inside without venturing out at all. This place has an old place charm to it.
We have seen many couples with their kids maybe around 6+ years old. Not much to do for a 2+year old child. Nonetheless there are gardens you can stroll around, a small lake where you can do boating & fishing, take carriage ride to the skytop tower where you can get a 360 degree view of New Paltz, family swimming pool, library with fireplace and a game room. If you don't want to do any of these you can always sit and enjoy lakeside view or mountain view. Their food is the best with buffet for breakfast & lunch (has lots of vegetarian option which we liked as we do not eat meat) & a traditionally served dinner. There are many activities for couples. You will definitely not miss your routine life. Even the route to New Paltz is great (scenic route 87) with beautiful views and no traffic.
P.S. There is no in room television.
