Hi Ladies,

Am planning on to start this thread to get/give/collect info about the places which we visit during the weekend in NJ area.

If you visit any place/or planning to visit/ please do post in this thread.. This helps others/you to plan their weekend.

Let me start the places I visited over the last weekend.

We visited Bridgewater temple(last weekend), Guruvayoorappan temple(before weekend).. 2 weeks back, we visited Turtle Back Zoo...

You can post like Sat'day what places you visited/relatives visit/ dining out etc etc.. Sun'day program if any.. This will be more interesting to get to know many places which we never came across...

Hi Anitha,

Its a very nice and useful thread, thanks for that.
Since my MIL is here, we took her to six flags wild safari 2 weeks back, and last weekend went to Flushing temple,
Hope others share their activities too

Thanks for joining & for giving info!!!
Great you visited six flags.. We're still waiting for summer.. Still it's in 50's & 60's & cold late evenings right.. So waiting.. Between, how much was the ticket price Rathika?? Did you book it online or got it directly from that place?

We've visited Flushing temple couple of times.. Nice ganapathy temple isn't it..

Hi Anitha,

We didn't buy online as we are not sure of the weather that day, so we purchased directly, it costed around 73 for 3 people incl of taxes.

Kool. Yeah, it happens for us also. It all depends upon weather also.. 100% agreed.
How was the weather when you visited?

Am just wondering if my 2.5yrs old son will enjoy six flags.. Any nice rides for small kids?

If you are in jersey city, can visit newyork madame tussauds museum, bronx zoo and liberty statue and have a trip in newyork water taxi.The one you see in the song vettaiyadu velaiyadu.
