Hi deepa, you can check out a place called Blue Lagoon near Mysore (close to KRS dam). About 2kms from the KRS dam there is a small island created by the backwaters of KRD dam. You can reach the place by wading through the shallow waters around the island.. You can take an auto from KRS dam to reach this island. Also you can check out Himad gopalaswamy betta near gundlupet which is on the way to mysore. Enjoy maadi
