Now, that we(me&hubby) realized that its baby time for us. we are not in urge.. but as we hear from some experienced frnds that there wud be a strike of luck to become preggy atonce we started trying..but for many it will be a long journey..so dont postpone it. so here we are. now my actual qn to u ladies is...any good gynac with a history of many normal delivaries and/or who insist for normal delivary in chennai.

secondly, are preconception tests necessary for the couple who are in TTC.

    Hi riyagan,
    i have PCOS+Thyroid problem....
i conceived in my first clomid cycle...my doctor is too good...never suggests tablets or tests unless and until if its necessary...
She is Dr.Shamim Aktar...Dr. Shamim is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OB/GYN) and She is a specialist in reproductive medicine...
She is consulting at Institute of BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH @ T.Nagar.Very much in proximity to T.Nagar bus stand....
She is very warm and very much friendly....I felt very much comfortable with her...
When i started ttc,i first consulted to a very famous gynecologist who suggested me laproscopy without even having any of the tests done...that too she fixed it the next day... but we went for second opinion with my current gynaec...and got conceived in my first clomid+metamorphin cycle...when i asked her about laproscopy...she told me it is not at all necessary...unless and until if we are not responding to nay medicines, injectibles etc...In my opinion...when we go behind big names of hospitals and doctors (especially fertility specialist) we will end up in places where you done get individual attention and personal care...almost same formula for all the patients....but in places like this...there is less of waiting time...get personal attention...thats my 2 cents...

    Hi ladies
went to Dr.Jeyarani Kamaraj, akash fertility hospital... i was totally fed up with the waiting time:spin finally when i get to meet the doc she was so sleepy and tired to answer my qstns... i planned to have a detailed talk with her. unfortunately i was out of the consultation room in just two mts:bowdown

why it takes hours to meet this doc while already having an appointment? the staffs seemed unprofessional to me. i know too many judgement in a short while..but i wasnt impressed. anyone here gone to Jeyarani and really satisfied?

btw, is it necessary to consult with just one doc right from gettin conceived through delivery? or can change the doc?? i mean if the fertility clinic is faraway from my place i can consult the fertility doc only till i conceive and then for delivery i can take the hospital near to my place. pls suggest.
