Vijay’s Nanban audio launched amidst much fanfare

Yep, which is why she would have agreed for Shankar's film- knowing very well how he spends money on his heroines. Apparently in Sahana song in Shivaji, the tub where Shreya was taking her bath was filled with 100% pure milk. If Shreya herself gets Cleopatra sort of treatment, imagine how Shankar would treat the highest rated actress in Telugu industry?

 

Does he treat his wife that way??? Chumma oru curiousity.... ;-)

 

:rotflI doubt it. His wife doesn't bring in thousands of eager male fans to the theatre like these girls you see ;-)

Anyway, this reminds me of the altercation between Ajith and Vijayakanth when the latter was the Nadigar Sangam President. According to the grapevine, the producers of Piriyatha Varam Vendum approached Vijayakanth and complained that their lead actress Shalini refused to act in their film post her marriage.

They requested him to speak to Ajith about this. When Vijayakanth asked Ajith to allow his wife to act, the latter turned back to Vijayakanth and asked him sarcastically, "Will you allow your wife to act in movies after marriage?"
To which the furious Vijayakanth retorted, "Well, unlike you, I didn't marry an actress!":rotflBulb for Ajith!

In case you ladies are wondering what's the connection between this story and Shankar's wife...let me just tell you-there's no connection between them:hide: It so happen that I suddenly thought of this one and wanted to share it with you people! :thumbsup

 

For a minute I was shocked reading this line..:spin I calmed down after reading the word 'theatre':rotflAnyways why would any man want his wife to bring in more eager men to his house ;-)

I don't think so. They would have mentioned that Prabhu is doing a small role in the film, if that's the case. But during the audio function, they just called him to the stage and asked him to accept the first cd. So most probably he was there only as a guest, I think...

 

Any opinions about the songs?

i liked only asku laska(chinmayee's charming voice)... rest all is dull and seemingly not fresh.
