Vaseline for Eye Lashes?

Hi,

Can petroleum jelly helps in growing eye lashes.. My lashes are very thins and in very few numbers. And my eye brow also very thin. I applied castor oil for nearly 3 months. but no change...

Please help me....

Have your thyroid checked: thinning eyebrows is a sign of thyroid problems.

never heard of applying petroleum jelly on eyelashes..please do be careful with ur eyes....are u anaemic?

hi..if ur general health is not good and yes definitely if u r anaemic it can lead to hair loss...are u taking any iron supplements? i would suggest u go to a physician first, get everything checked and then take care of ur health before trying out these vaseline etc kind of remedies...if u have already been to a physician and u need more specific advice u can visit a dermatologist..i too had this problem, i was not anaemic although, and the dermatologist gave me some supplements for hair growth and it worked out

I agree with amirthavarshini, consult a doc and take some iron supplements for aneamia. Castor oil has helped me getting darker eye brows. I used to apply it daily before going to sleep.So there is enough time for it to get absorbed. It might not be working for you because of aneamia. So do a general health checkup to see whats causing hair fall. Also please be cautious while applying anythnig in or around your eyes.Eyes are extremely sensitive and you dont want to experiment using everything on your eyes.
