Travelling alone to India with 13 month baby - need some info.

Hi
I need some info about on international air travel . I am planning for a vacation India with my 13 month old baby. I am travelling via Etihad airways.

- Can I carry battery loaded musical toys.
- I am carrying an Ipad so my kiddo will see some rhymes, will they ask him to wear headphones..?
- Can I take water from home ? He is EBF baby. water is just for in between or during the meals. how my cups will be good enough.
- Shall I take Slip diaper or normal diapers. As of now he is used to wearing normal disposable diaper but I am worried whether he ll lemme change in flight so thought slip on would be better but not sure.

Airline and airport officials in US are very accommodating towards babies. Take whatever you need that is reasonable.

You can carry baby toys with batteries and also the I pad., no they would ask him to wear the headphones.
You can also carry enough baby food. Water, I carried one small bottle and then again bought one more bottle in the airport during the wait time for the next flight. I would suggest carry the slip diapers, as the toilets in plane are so tiny to make them lie down and change, my little fellow would not let me change his diapers in plane, it would be better to take the slip ones.

No, at least not from Toronto. They took the batteries away at the security check.

No, you dont exactly need to use headphones unless everyone else on the plane is sleeping. You can just put the ipad on low volume.

No, they take the water away at the security check. The only thing they allowed me was the feeding bottle already filled with water; not the regular water bottles.

Nah...you will be fine, just put the regular diapers on.
