[IMG]Jog Falls / Gerusoppe falls / Gersoppa Falls / Jogada Gundi

    * Jog Falls is the second highest plunge or untiered waterfall created by the Sharavathi River falling from a height of 253 m (830 ft).
    * It is located in Sagara, Karnataka Shimoga District of Karnataka state.
    * October to March is the best season to catch the pleasant temperature and July to August is best to catch on the monsoons and the optimum force of the Jog Falls.
    * While the height of the Jog Falls is quite intimidating by itself; going to the base of the waterfall and then climbing back can prove a daunting task -it will take around 20minutes to walk down to the bottom, and could easily take an hour or two to come back.
    * The river forms four different tracks which are named 'Raja', 'Roarer', 'Rocket' and 'Rani' which are named aptly by the majesty they display

-- Raja (King): Named so because of its apparently 'dignified' and 'serene' fall.
-- Roarer: This stream appears out of a mass of rocks, making a tremendous amount of noise.
-- Rocket: Consists of a large volume of water streaming out of a small opening at a very high speed.
-- Rani (Queen), also called Lady Dame Blanche: The stream has a winding, twisting trajectory, said to resemble the movements of a female dancer.

A telling tribute to the days of the colorful Maharajas of Patiala, the Sheesh Mahal is part of the Qila Mubarak. Similar well-known rooms called "Sheesh Mahal" are also found in the palace of the Agra Fort, the Amber Fort of Jaipur, and the Harimandir Sahib.

    * It is a triple storey building also a bridge across the artificial lake in the centre of the palace. This bridge is known as Lakshman Jhoola.
    * To give artistic look on the walls and ceilings of the Sheesh Mahal, Maharaja Narinder Singh engaged artistic painters from Rajasthan and Kangra.
