Here is the Tamil meaning of the 2nd Pasuram:

திருமால்கண்ணனாக அவதரித்த ஆயர்பாடியில் வாழும்சிறுமிகளே! நாம், இவ்வுலகில்இருந்துவிடுபட்டு, அந்தபரந்தாமனின்திருவடிகளைஅடைவதற்காக, நாம்செய்தபாவையைவணங்கிவிரதமிருக்கும்வழிமுறைகளைக்கேளுங்கள். நெய்உண்ணக்கூடாது, பால்குடிக்கக்கூடாது. அதிகாலையேநீராடிவிடவேண்டும். கண்ணில்மைதீட்டக்கூடாது. கூந்தலில்மலர்சூடக்கூடாது (மார்கழியில்பூக்கும்மலர்கள்அனைத்தும்மாலவனுக்கேசொந்தம்). தீயசெயல்களைமனதாலும்நினைக்கக்கூடாது. தீயசொற்களைசொல்வதுகூடபாவம்என்பதால்பிறரைப்பற்றிகோள்சொல்லக்கூடாது. இல்லாதவர்களுக்கும், துறவிகளுக்கும், ஞானிகளுக்கும்அவர்கள்போதும்என்றுசொல்லுமளவுதர்மம்செய்யவேண்டும்.

As you know Hinduism is broadly divided as Saivam and Vaishnavam.
Saivaites mainly worship Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva, Maa Parvathi, Karthikeya.
Vaishnavites worship Lord Vishnu and laxmi/ Sridevi/ Bhudevi. Of course at advanced stages Hinduism recognises that these Gods and Kriyas lead us to realise the "Self" within a human being as the part of universal Spirit The Brahmam.

Andal is deemed as incarnation of Laxmi, who was born in Srivilliputhur , lived singing Lord Vishnu's prayers wanting to marry Him and Him only and ultimately merged into Lord Vishnu. So she is also given the status of Vishnu's concert and worshipped as mother Andaal.

Andal was a great poet who wrote many hymns in praise of Vishnu, the most important being 'Thiruppavai' songs which is given in this thread.

Alwars were 12 very learned devotees of Vishnu who have sung 4000 songs in praise of Lord Vishnu.called "Nalayira Divya Prabantham". They were the Vaisnavite saints, having performed many miracles, during the revival of Hinduism during 8th to 14th century. They hold a special place of honour among the South Indian Vaishnavite devotees.

Incidentally, Andal was a child found by one 'Periaalvar, one of the 12 Alwars who lived in Srivilliputhur near Madurai in Tamil Nadu.

The Nalayira Divya Prabandtham (The 4000 Sweet Hymns) is very sacred for the South Indian Vaishnavites.
