Sorry to say this you are not his wife..Just a keep.and your children are illicit children acvording to that religion.

More lives have been lost in the name of religion than for any other cause , throughout history. Religion is only one of the many man-made concepts that divide humans into groups . It is inborn . If not religion, some thing else like Social Status or Colour of Skin or Nationality will always divide people and cause some mad fringes to go to extremes.
Only real visionaries can help in educating and controlling such madness. But where are they ?

 

Honestly, that doesn't bother me. Most religions prefer that their practitioners marry others of their same faith. My religion (Sikhism) also instructs that a Sikh should only marry another Sikh.

In addition to that, we live in Montreal and the legality (as set out by the Parliament of Canada) of a marriage is more relevant than religious notions of marriage.

Honestly i feel, we shouldnt force our kids to follow any religion.... Time and again we need to keep teaching them and ourselves just one thing “ live and let live”.... I guess this alone will solve many issues....

Everyone who comes from a different religion is hellbent in proving that his/ her religion is the best and the oldest in the world, no one wants to listen and understand the good things....
Everyone is in some kind of a hurry to prove that what they are practicing is the best....

 

Personally, I don't believe that such people are truly religious. I think it's more of a power issue with them. They seem to enjoy the sense of power that attempting to force someone to change their beliefs gives them.

In my experience, people who truly believe in their faith (whatever that be) and are secure in what they believe simply go about living their lives accordingly and leave others to do the same.

 

True. Secularism is believing that God is one . we have different names for it. spirituality is respecting one another. That's all. But it is not seen this way. Maybe Almighty himself should come down to make peace.
