Very well said Geeta. Forget divisions at the family or personal level, look at what is happening in our country. Politicians have succeeded in dividing us along lines of religion and caste. Now they want to further divide individual religions along narrower caste lines - all for love of themselves and their family. They want a lot of power and money. The rest of the country be damned!
I guess man has stooped down to such a level, that he divides himself in the name of love, though there is just greed and hatred left....
So true, Satchi. Extreme form/excessive love leads to horrible pocessiveness and alienation. I was watching a video on Mahanati Savitri, where someone said her fault was excessive love and attachment to people in her life. This lead to easy disappointments which in turn gave birth to depression and hatred! Our politicians and leaders have split us deep within to suit their personal agendas. I won't be surprised if in a few years, they split families on these divisive lines destroying the very basis of life.
a couple indifferent to accumulation of wealth were ambling toward a lake. man was going ahead of spouse and spotted a glittering coin sunk in mud a bit. man stooped for close examination. spouse enquired "Are you tempted" Man replied, " not at all. I covered it with more mud". Regards. God grant Godspeed in our earnest endeavours.
