That Refreshing Coffee Ad!

The latest instant coffee ad featuring Delhi Ganesh and a beautiful lady is just too good!

I fell in love with the ad the first time I watched it. Though the ad features for just a min, it shows the couple's togetherness in a cute manner.

The way he asks for his watch (never understand why men never seem to find their watches….. Be it my dad or my DH), or the way he laments about her need for change. It shows an easy camaraderie that the couple have - which is so lovable. It almost makes me wish to be like that couple when I grow that old with my DH.

I have this silly smile on my face the entire time I watch the ad. It is just too beautiful for me.

My mom however begs to differ! Every time she watches the ad, she makes a face and says 'pillai illadha veetla kezhavan thulli vilayadinana'. According to her people need to act their age.

Is it wrong for elderly couple to express their feelings for each other in public? Is it wrong to experience or think of love at that age? Maybe it’s the way the society worked till now – making old age synonymous with prayers and pujas.

I feel being mischievous at that age somehow adds to that elderly charm. After all isn’t old age known as second childhood?

My little ones are with me on this. They too love to watch this ad and that too with that same silly smile!

btw...I like your name. I have a periamma but shes just a namesake. We have a strained relation with her (she doesn't like us you see). However, when I am addressing you as periamma, I feel this unexplainable feeling...not sure what to name it though
