    Why not, nothing wrong or illegal about that if it happens ! Almost all channels like NDTV, IBN, etc have been pro Congress and even fledgling AAP has `Janta ka Reporter`, `News laundry` and `Logical Indian` plugging for it and even mainstream channel like `Aaj tak` (fondly called `AAP tak` :laughing:!) supporting AAP.

    Balajee, to be very honest, I don't think the man talks nons ense. What I totally object to is his way of inviting panellists, then shouting them down without letting them get a word in sideways and then calling it a discussion. For that he might as well just give single-handed commentaries without any shouting, without any interruption ...... If only someone invented some equipment that works to muffle volumes! Arnab badly needs it. In fact recently I saw a couple of interviews by him with some speakers and was surprised to see that the guy can talk softly AND surprise, surprise also listen to what the other person has to say. But that is very selective indeed!

    Yes, he not just leans but bends completely towards the BJP. Is that surprising, given his father is also a BJP man? But like vrikshakadali states, there is no truly independent channel in India that reports neutrally in a purely issue based manner.

    If Arnab talks sense, then it is difficult to find it in all that high decibel noise. Also being a moderator, he shouled make others talk and not keep shooting his mouth himself. I liked the way he cornered Rita Joshi Bahuguna when she defected from Congress to BJP. Whatever channel the viewer must have the ability to separate the grain from the chaff instead of swallowing everything lock,stock and barrel. Also his media house is controlled by an industrial group and they have to curry favour with the government all the time. So it is hardly surprising that he not only bends but crawls befor BJP.

    Nothing wrong in taking a stand even a pro-BJP or Congress stand as long as it doesn't affect the objective coverage of news. But your political colour should not seep into your coverage. This is what happens with Arnab.

    I totally agree that the high decibels really are a delight for all neurologists - they are ensured a steady flow of people with headaches!

    Arnab Goswami , does speak in high decibels. But I feel it is his way to not allow others to talk in a debate(he has to change it) But one positive is he is not scared of any political person or any country especially if Pakistan does harm to us, he is not scared to question them. Boldness is a great quality.

    Sindmani, there is a big difference between boldness and bravado. Arnab is not bold but just shows off his bravado. You don't need much guts to question someone in Karachi or Islamabad through teleconferencing. He does not even question, he just yells at them.
