There is a free tool Spybot - Search and destroy. This tool is very effective in finding the spyware installed on your computer. Even for keyloggers, once installed, you can remotely access the keys you have pressed and even a video of your activity. To remove the keylogger, first you need to find the key logger using a Keylogger detector.
Go to task manager, check all the proccesor in google. Another thing ou can do is download Trojan remover software trial, run it before running it just pullout networking cable and disable all connection to that machine. It's not so big deal. If nothing happens just take a backup of important files and restore the machine to very old date.

I hope that's why he married you who dont hv sound knowledge in Technology. I think he has very good exposure to System administration/Networking. Better u stop using all ur internet for a months time or so.. chk h he reacts. If he is reacts normally, then slowly u start ask him shall I use Laptop.. do u have a objection's.. then continue with it. This may change his mind I hope..
