hello frnds,i and my frnd have started a group where we are supporting less privileged people in matter of education,since our is backword class and most of our people still dont afford for higher studies,or people are still nt willing to study..we just want to encourage ,motivate them for their own progress..i just want to start some events which will be of fun and also help them in educational matter..some of them are like essay writing,drawing,inovative talent etc..cud you all plzz suggest me few of such helpful event which will draw their attention to take part in such actviites ..
Dear cherry , First of all I would like to appreciate your cause.Coming to the point of events which draws their attenction, you can categorize them on based on their age group and conduct classes on Science and communication .This builds confidence in them. You can conduct quizs on current afairs. But make sure that you have few simple questions sothat they can answer. And also pick the people who shows bright performance in the relavant area (let is be studies or extra curricular activities) and encourage them to compete with others (other tahn the group which you are grooming) . They feel motivated , if they find a "Hero" in their own group. To have active participation in all these, they should trust that you are their well wisher, so you can do some campaigns like old book collection or Toys collection , where you can collect unused toys and books (which are in good shape and can be used) from others and distribute to the group.
