    Hi Siat,

    Ch55, double crochet till you reach end and turn.
    Continue doing double crochet untill you reach 30 or 31 rows. Mine is having 31 rows(black) as I want bigger.
    Now, using gray color yarn, do a double crochet of one row two sides and fold.
    Now you can close the sides by doing slip stitch and reverse it so it will be inside.
    For the strap you can create any design you wish, length of my strap is 49 inches - quite longer cos of my height.
    You can crochet any flower of your choice and attached it on the purse.

    Yes I did stitched a zip, actually it has an inner cloth inside and on that cloth I stitched the zip. I forgot to share the pic of the purse opening.
