hi all my daughters school also follow Xseed program. i am really happy with the syllabus. i can prove it. try to compare the 1st/2nd std english , maths and environmental science books with state board books / NCERT books. it has lots of activities and learnings. in Xseed syllabus all chapters look alike. special note for std 1 environmental science and std 2 environmental science you cant find difference between both. i pity the schools, parents and kids who pay too much to learn nothing. all parents please share and correct me if i am wrong. But check in ncert website the books are available and then comment
hi srilatha, good to know the xseed program, where are your daughters studying?thank you for the information,I also feel it is very good...
Do agree with you, here is another link: http://www.indusladies.com/forums/schoolgoers-and-teens/107482-xseed-kg-rhymes.html
Dear friends, Xseed is a cbse sylabus which is taught more of practical way. I know that PSBB and Vels vidyashram are following Xseed sylabus. Does anybody knows any other schools in chennai following Xseed sylabus. kindly provide their name and area of that school Thanks in advance
My son goes to a school which follows XSEED. I like the way XSEED team comes and tests the teachers by testing the knowledge of students.Well one such test was held for my son's class and the school had sent a note saying children neednot prepare for the test as it is not for them but the teachers. XSEED programme gives the teachers too a set of books and materials. This helps them in teaching better. So yes right now i like the way my son's studies are going.
Sorry people instead of marking it as unhappy i had mentioned as 'i am really happy with the syllabus'. Not upto the expected standard as hyped.
Hi all, I have gone through the 1st and 2nd standard Xseed books. They are really good. But Xseed books are not available outside. As my kids school doesnt follow xseed curiculam it is very difficult to get those books. Can anyone help in getting workbooks for 4th and 2nd standard. Sireesha
