    @Greenbay
    It is so sad that such genii should die so young. It is like Adi Sankara and Vivekananda dying in their thirties. We also have happy instances of people living a ripe old age and doing their best for the world like Albert Einstein and my great favourite Wodehouse.

    True sir. That was the first question that popped in my mind too!
    Then I reckoned that maybe the creator of this video has approached "fusion music" from a different dimension:D.

    When we talk of Shankar Jaikishan, we cannot overlo
    ok an integral part of the duo. SJ 's rhyme section was being looked after by Dattaram, an independent and successful music composer himself. He did not compose music for many movies but whatever he did became a great hit. Here are a few:

    Sung by Mukesh for (who else?) Raj Kapoor in Parvarish. I loved this movie.

    From the same movie. Dung by Lata and Manna Day. It is a rare occasion when Manna day gave voice for Raj Kapoor.

    Sung by Manna Dey and Suman Kalyanpuri in Shriman Satyawadi. Look at the typical Charlie Chaplin style of Raj Kapoor.

    @shyamala1234 ! @Mistt
    Dear Syamala
    Nice to you here to watch me play another role!
    I am least surprised! I have seen visitors from Andhra breaking coconuts in front of his house in Chennai!
    Do you know that in the movie Sri Krishna Pandaveeyam (1966), he acted both as Lord Krishna and Duryodana?

    if they alive so long, we must listen many more nice songs.
    :) It is difficult to see same person in 2 roles but my parents told that people of those days admired to watch him in 3 roles of Karna, Duryodhana and Krishna in movie Dana Veera Soora Karna and that film was more than 3 hours duration.

    Thank you Sir for sharing about Dattaram Wadkar. I came to known him after reading your post only.
