    I am looking for girl names starting with "A" that are not too challenging for Non-Indians to pronounce and my current favourites are:

    Anasuya, Anushka, Aanya, Aisha

    Please do tell me which of these you like best and of course feel free to suggest others!

    Aanya is both Indian and Russian .
    Aisha is more popular with Muslims.
    Anushka is good too.

    I would go with Aanya or Anushka.

    Thanks so much for your input! My original favourite was Anasuya, but our baby will already have a long five syllable surname (mine and my husband's), so I thought a four syllable first name might be too long! So I am also leaning toward the shorter name, Aanya. I also really like your suggestion of Ananya (it is a lovely combination of the previous two)!
