Hi there, We are planning to go for a European Trip and hence would like to know about the application process of schengen visa. Can anyone give some details on this like where to apply,what do we need, etc
Hey, You'll have to apply the Schengen Visa for the country you'll be first visiting. You'd need to have the travel docs, like the ticket and travel money in terms of money in the bank account/travellers cheques. Need to book the hotel/give proof of accommodation if you're staying at a friends place. Definitely need to have a travel insurance. IF you are applying with your husband, keep photo copies of all the docs your spouse will be providing. Tell them you have plans of visiting other countries in future, in a years time, so you can maybe get a longer duration of visa. LEt me know if you have doubts. Also these are just from my memory, may not be 100% right, and visa rules keep changing every other week like no man's business, so clarify everything before you go to hand over the visa papers.
