That brought to mind the 'headbath' with oil and shikakai or kadala mavu. The scary part was the shikakai going into the eyes and causing them to burn!

Interesting. Any thought I would have had of giving the yellow liquid a try has been perished if it does not fulfil the desired goal and if it is going to bring more misery to the sinuses. But the thought of trying it for the hair is interesting. Is it still available in the market?
Did cooking or frying in castor oil have similar repercussions as drinking the oil by itself?
