My favourite actress Revathy is known for her power-packed performances as an actor and also for directing some hard hitting films like Mitr My Friend and Phir Milenge. Right now, she is in the headlines for playing the lead in director Ranjith Sankar's Molly Aunty Rocks. It is quite unusual for a middle-aged woman to play a central role like the one in Molly Aunty Rocks and Revathy knows it very well. In this interview, she talks about her role and her future plans. Excerpts: What attracted you to Molly Aunty Rocks? This is the first script I heard in the last 10 years that is about the life and career of a middle-aged woman, or let's say someone of my age group. Usually, it will be about her husband, children or some family issues. She is a normal woman, the kind of character whom we come across so often in real life. She stands by her principles and is adamant about her stand at times. She discusses things with her husband while taking decisions and has principles.
