Hehe! I never heard this Tap Tap Tippa song. Your dedicating the funny song to my scatty and tappa singing precisely reflects much of my vocals as I usually belt out every known song to my nip-tap unyielding vocals! I just cannot sing. So I either gurgle...na na ne ne na ga ma ...or ta ta tee ta taa pa ma. Here's something in return for you, nothing less than the Bard for your musical cavalcade. Ben Kingsley elevated the role of Feste, the fool, to the narrator of the drama Twelfth Night in the movie adaptation from 1996. Scholars debate why is that "when that I was and a little tiny boy" instead of "when that I was but a little tiny boy". But, here, in our sing-song and playful thread, we could gloss over such indiscretions and delight with Feste for the rain it raineth every day. Song: “When that I was and a little tiny boy (With hey, ho, the wind and the rain)” BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (from Twelfth Night) When that I was and a little tiny boy, With hey, ho, the wind and the rain, A foolish thing was but a toy, For the rain it raineth every day. But when I came to man’s estate, With hey, ho, the wind and the rain, ’Gainst knaves and thieves men shut their gate, For the rain it raineth every day. But when I came, alas! to wive, With hey, ho, the wind and the rain, By swaggering could I never thrive, For the rain it raineth every day. But when I came unto my beds, With hey, ho, the wind and the rain, With toss-pots still had drunken heads, For the rain it raineth every day. A great while ago the world begun, With hey, ho, the wind and the rain, But that’s all one, our play is done, And we’ll strive to please you every day.
That's so nice of you, dear @Iravati. I loved the song and could literally feel the chill and rainy mood in the visuals. Thank you. Your energy, enthusiasm and your preference prompted me to dedicate that Tippa song. I found this song unique, energetic and with a good foot-tapping beat. Agree with you totally. Using too much logic is not conducive to a simple happy life.
Heeha! You inferred spot-on about my taste. I like spunk and blaze and a bit of dale rumba suelta in the songs. I liked the Tippa footbeat.
