question in making home made choclate

    how long does it normally takes to melt the slab for a home made choclate....
    Last time when i tried making it took much time using double boiler method...can some one suggest any quick way to melt the choclate....

    is there any specific choclate brand which melts easily...like marco, marde, campco..
    which is best...
    suggest some other brands which taste good...

    Any brand should melt....do you need a double boiler...no. Heat in increments of 20 seconds in the microwave till it softens, then 10 seconds till melted. Max time for one slab would be anywhere between 2-5 mins...depending on your microwave wattage.

    Shred or cut the chocolate slab into several pieces for faster melting.
