I used to pump early in the morning- around 4ish - after a couple of hours' rest, when the baby slept. I was fuller and i could get a few ounces much more quickly.

I had a manual pump and I used to wish I had an electric pump to attach to the other breast when my dd was feeding from one... Perhaps that would work for you?

I would pump as soon as baby falls asleep. By the time baby wakes up, I would be done pumping. Or on the weekends, your husband can take care and then you can pump as much as you can and store the milk.
