I could faintly recollect The joy that I felt as a kid Welcoming you with a delect, Dancing and singing good. Then came those few years, When I felt so nervous. With the board exams so near Each day passed with a fuss. The reckless days soon followed, When I cared just about none, Fleeing like that tiny sparrow, Feeling content and fuller then. There were of course a couple, That came and went as I cried Being alone, left with a terrible Loss, facing them as a low tide. Now comes another when I am Back with those people I cherish, Realizing its just the same As another, exactly as I wished. All these days however brought That undying hope along with them. Another occasion that we've got To spread the cheer around us some! Happy New Year, Dear ILites!
