Pregnancy query

Hi Friends,

I got positive result on home pregnancy test and 59.6 on HCG blod test on 32nd day.

I got periods on 47th day and HCG level went down to 17 and doctor said it might be the baby not formed properly and aborted.

Have changed the doctor and this time other doctor advised to take PLACENTREX injection on alternate days for 10 days?is it safe?whats its use?

Hi Gayathri

I was also prescribed placentex by my Gynae, but she never answered my query as to why she prescribed it. I was being treated for cystic ovary at that time. But when I changed my doc (she is one of the best gynea in delhi)and asked why was I given placentrex, she said it was a sort of contraceptive but also helps in decreasing the size of cyst .

I dont know If its of any help for you but I shared my experience.

Hi dear,

When i search the word CONTRACEPTIVE....it means to prevent pregnancy....so I wonder why my doctor gave me this placentrex injection when am trying to get pregnanat!!!!
