Your Heart is palpitating
Your Stomach is churning

But your are close
To getting something
You wished for
And now you
Regret it

You wished your Parent
Out of your Life
Stop Causing you Strife

But he is the one
Who protected you
From the Knife

Time goes on
Life gets weary
Outlook gets dreary
Talk of final days

Makes you sad
Makes you regret
Makes you retrospect
Makes you introspect

Then you realize

Be Careful
What You Wish for
You Just May get it

Who can replace
Someone who is Loyal
Someone who Loves
Someone who Cares

You may have oceans
Of gold, diamonds, rubies

You may suddenly find
New friends
New relatives
New loves

But it will never compare
To the Parent
Who genuinely cared
From the Heart
